Talent Quest International 2026
Duet Category New Rules

Talent Quest International has had several requests from husbands/wife/partners that have attended the International
finals over the years to allow a non-contestant to enter the Duet category so they can sing a duet with their husband/wife/partner
that is entered in one of the regular categories. We feel this is not detrimental to the Duet Category as many Husband/wife/partners sing duets. Therefore, we have changed the rules in this category to reflect this change and some other changes to this category. Here are the new rules and changes to the Duet Category held during Talent Quest International Finals 2026.

1 – Duet teams entering the Duet Category must have a least 1 (one) singer that is entered in 1 of the 6 regular categories at the
International Finals

2 – Duet teams will sing 2 preliminary songs. Song time limit 6 minutes.

3 – The total scores from the 2 preliminary rounds songs for each Duet team will be added together to get that teams overall
score for the 2 preliminary round songs.

4 – Duets category will be judge on Vocals 30 points, Stage 15 points, Dress 5 points

5 – The Top 3 scoring Duet Teams will move on to the Talent Quest International finals on Saturday.

6 – The Top 3 Duets teams will be posted the same time as the Top 5 Finalist on Friday night.

7 - Top 3 Duet teams are required to attend the mandatory finalist meeting on Saturday. Time to be announced

8 – The Top 3 Duet teams will have their previous scores dropped and will sing 1 song in the finals. The Top score for the final round will determine their placement in the finals.

9 – Due to possibly having some Duet team members also competing in the 6 regular category finals, we have decided that we
will judge the final night Duets songs on just Vocal and Stage so they don’t have to rush to change outfits for the regular categories.

10 – Scoring for the Duet category finals will be Vocal 30 points, Stage 15 points.

11 – The Top 3 Duet teams competing in the finals Saturday night will be allowed to repeat a song they did earlier in the week if they so choose.

12 – Entry fee per Duet team will be $50

13 – You can only be entered on one team.

14 – Guaranteed Prize Payout for the Duet category will be:

1st Place - $750 & Trophies

2nd Place - $500 & Trophies

3rd Place - $250 & Trophies
